Saturday the 13th March

Union Square will be the backdrop for some fantastic events to celebrate this year's launch weekend for National Science and Engineering Week in the North East. TechFest-SetPoint will be running Kid K’Nex for younger children and offering the opportunity to be a real life chemist using materials found in your kitchen. There will also be the chance to meet science-busking researchers from the University of Aberdeen who will be mingling with shoppers. All activities are free and will run throughout the day.

'Race for Life' Launch 20th March at Union Square

Cancer Research UK will be at Union Square on Saturday the 20th March to launch the Aberdeen 'Race for Life'- to be held on the 4th July.

Race for Life is the UK's largest woment only fundraising event where all the money raised goes to funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work. Whether you walk, jog or run the 5k course you can join thousands of women all round the country raising money to help beat cancer.

More new names coming to Union Square in 2010

Italian restaurant Prezzo and household storage specialists Howard's Storage World are the latest names to announce their new stores in Union Square. Both will open in spring/summer 2010, keep checking our website for opening dates.

The next big launch at Union Square will be Pizza Hut on March the 17th.

Union Square Grand Prix, 17th & 18th April

Do you love the roar of Silverstone? Or the glamour of Monaco? Union Square is now THE new venue in the grand prix circuit now that the British Radio Car Association announced that they will hold a weekend of racing on the 17th and 18th April.

World and European Champion Andy Moore has confirmed that he will lead the field of competitors vying for the title of Union Square Grand Prix champion. There will also be public sessions throughout the weekend so that you can test your skills against the professionals.
The Union Square Grand Prix takes place on the 17th & 18th April
